I’m a wife, a proud mom to two amazing kids — a daughter (18) and a son (21) — and part of a busy household that includes our two white labs, Jet and Oakley. I’m a small-town girl, raised in the country, and I’ve always carried a deep love for people and their stories.

Later in life, I made the decision to go back to school to study Digital Media — and that’s where I discovered my passion for photography. It took me a long time to find a career that truly filled my cup, but once I picked up a camera, everything clicked. If you know me, then you now how much I love traveling and adventure. Photography has allowed me to pursue these passions as well, taking me to Tibet, Mount Everest base camp and the Amazon rainforest to name a few.

Today, I feel incredibly fortunate to photograph families, grads, weddings, sports, and everything in between. There’s nothing more meaningful to me than capturing moments that turn into lifelong treasures — the kind of images that hang on walls and get passed down through generations.

Jody is amazing to work with! Jody has done our family photos, graduation photos as well as our engagement photos and we have her booked for our wedding in August. She takes her time, making sure every photo is perfect! There is never a bad photo with Jody! She pays attention to every detail, making sure your hair is where it’s supposed to be or your ring is in the correct spot for the shot she is taking. Highly recommended Jody for any photos!!! We LOVE her!

What I love about Jody’s photography is that it tells a story. I love that. I can see pictures of families or couples or even grads and I feel like I know something about them and I’ve never met them. She has a way of capturing people’s beauty. When Jody photographed my oldest son’s wedding, she listened to what they wanted, and she captured exactly who they were.

Having Jody come and take photos of our family was an incredibly great experience. We had 5 little ones as well as the adults, and usually trying to get any type of picture with them is like herding cats. Jody made it seem so easy and the kids felt like they were special. She was so efficient, patient and easy going. I can hardly wait till we can get her back again. Jody is extremely creative and gifted coming up with unique and amazing photos! I have definitely sung her praises to many others.

Our first experience was so much fun and yielded the most amazing photos. Jody captured the true essence of the moments of our son and his friends. The experience was so great that we decided Jody must do our daughter’s grad shoot and this experience did not fall flat! So breath taking and adventurous, Jody is always up for anything! Whether putting a couch in the middle of a 4 way stop with smoke bombs ,barefoot atop the badlands ,hitting up a ghost town. Her eye is impeccable. She has now even captured our sons wedding. 💕 These memories and feelings captured are priceless. I can only hope to continue to share our moments as family with Jody. She has been an amazing photographer and human to get to know and trust with these treasured keepsakes
